Doors

I find these images work best when glued to pieces of styrene foam or wood which are thick enough to be free-standing. In my opinion wood is the better choice, since its weight means that the pieces are less likely to be accidentally moved. Finish the edges of the blocks by painting them in a neutral shade which matches the average colour of the stonework. Black also looks good.

Pillars

The pillar "wallpaper" is sized to wrap around a standard-sized cardboard toilet roll core, though pillars of greater or smaller diameters could easily be created from the same file by using more than one printout, or by cutting a single printout down to size.
