Comments: I got this figure from some guy at a wargaming convention about twenty years ago (c.1983). He'd drop-cast it in a home-made rubber mould, and the quality of detail was frankly pretty bloody poor. Nevertheless, I painted on as much detail as I could be bothered with, and I think it turned out reasonably well.
He was a keen Warhammer player, so I expect the original was by Games Workshop, but I couldn't swear to it.
